Every question and explanation is sourced from authoritative materials: Airbus FCOM, FCTM and QRH for A320 content, Boeing FCOM and FCTM for B737 content, EASA CS-25 and EU regulations for airworthiness and operations, ICAO Annexes for law, Oxford/CAE ATPL textbooks for EASA theory, the FAA's own handbooks (PHAK, AFH, IFH, AIM) and 14 CFR for the FAA written tests, and, for the Embraer E-Jet, the EASA type-certificate data sheets, the Transport Canada operational evaluation report and an E190 AOM summary. Airbus A320 Family (A318/A319/A320/A321 — both CFM56 and V2500 variants) and Boeing 737 NG/MAX and the Embraer E-Jet family (E170–E195, E1 and E2). For ATPL theory, all 13 EASA ATPL subjects are covered (Air Law, AGK, Instrumentation, Mass & Balance, Performance, Flight Planning, Human Performance, Meteorology, General Navigation, Radio Navigation, Operational Procedures, Principles of Flight, Communications); PPL, IR and CPL theory are covered as well. For the FAA, all four written tests are covered — Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial and ATP — each written to the FAA's Airman Certification Standards and cited to the FAA handbooks. Note: ATPL and interview content is interview-oriented — not a complete exam syllabus.

v1prep covers the A320 Family, Boeing 737 NG/MAX and the Embraer E-Jet family (E170–E195). The A350, B777 and ATR are not covered yet; new types are announced in the Changelog.

Currently v1prep is a web application that requires an internet connection for the first load. Your progress is kept in your browser's storage and synced to your account when you are signed in, but questions are loaded from the site, so there is no offline mode and no mobile app yet.
