The v1prep app: on your phone, offline
v1prep installs straight from your browser, on Android and on iPhone: an icon on your home screen, a full-screen app, and every question bank saved on the phone so you can study in flight mode. There is no app store to go through, and your account and plan work exactly as on the website.
Checking this device…

Study offline
Open the app once while you are online and tap Save for offline (or use the button at the top of this page). Every question bank is saved on the phone: the questions, answers and explanations then work without a connection, in flight mode or on a remote airfield. Pictures and the live tools, such as the METAR decoder and the Flight Briefing, still need a connection.
Your progress is kept on the phone, and it reaches your account the next time you study online. When a new release changes the question banks, the app offers to update the saved copy.
Questions
Is the app free?
Installing it is free. The app is v1prep itself, so the free plan and any plan you have bought work exactly as on the website: sign in with the same account.
Is v1prep on Google Play or the App Store?
Not yet. The app installs straight from the browser, on Android and on iPhone, which also means every update reaches it at once.
How do I remove it?
Like any app: press and hold the icon, then remove it. Your account and progress stay on v1prep.com.
